Stockings hung with care...

Tonight, we hung three children’s stockings for the first time, for Emma, Owen, and Sean. John’s mom made the stockings (complete with stitched truck shapes for the boys), and we have hung them near our wedding ring quilt. We also began decorating the our small tree, with Emma and Owen placing a cluster of gold ornaments at their height.

Minneapolis Holidazzle

On Saturday night, we went with the local MOMS club to the Minneapolis Holidazzle parade, a parade of lit-up floats that goes down Hennepin Ave through downtown. It was a chilly night, but we had lots of fun. Maggie came along and was in charge of Owen-wrangling.

John had some good snuggle time with Sean on the bus ride home.

Emma is five!

Yes, Emma has turned five. Since her birthday always falls near Thanksgiving, we have her "invite friends over" party the following week.
